This is the 46th year of a movement that continues to inspire, challenge ideas, ignite passion, and motivate people to action.
In 1970, the year of the first Earth Day, the movement gave voice to an emerging consciousness, channeling human energy toward environmental issues. More information about this can be found on the pages of the site https://dassiecasinocht.home.blog. Forty-six years later, it continues to lead with groundbreaking ideas and by the power of example.
And so it begins again, April 22, 2016. Earth Day is more than just a single day. It’s bigger than attending a rally and taking a stand.
The annual Pender Island Beach Clean up will be held April 23rd. This will be the seventh year that the Pender Island Conservancy Association has been sponsoring this event, which is always held in conjunction with Earth Day.
Greenangels was asked again to support this event, and we’re honoured to do so.
