Mayne Island Integrated Water Systems Society (MIIWSS)

Greenangels is pleased to support MIIWSS by helping to purchase water meters for private well owners as an education tool leading to water conservation.

These meters will help to keep well owners aware of their consumption levels and when they may be over taxing their well. It is also a leak detection tool. Most water systems on the island are fully metered, using meters for leak detection and over consumption detection. It is the hope of MIIWSS that they are starting a trend that will catch on, just as theĀ  rainwater collection tanks are becoming the norm across the island. They are trying to plant a seed of an idea and hope to watch it grow.

Who is MIIWSS?…
